Delaware State Police say a man previously convicted of five criminal charges of driving under the influence of alcohol has now been charged a sixth time. The department said in a statement that a trooper saw a car with its lights flashing pulled over on the road shoulder in Ellendale, Delaware late one evening. Authorities say that as the trooper checked on the driver, the trooper smelled alcohol. After a DUI investigation, 53 year-old Kervy Riley of Lincoln, Delaware was arrested. Police say a records check showed Riley had five previous DUI convictions. He is charged with sixth offense DUI, driving after judgment prohibited, and driving while license suspended or revoked.
